Withings has recently updated its widely revered Wi-Fi Body Scale; the new version is capable of measuring a number of additional metrics.

Withings WS-50 Design
The WS-50 Smart Body Analyzer doesn’t have significant difference with the Wi-Fi Body Scale as far as its appearance is concerned. A couple of lines have divided the top of the device into quarters. It has an eye-catching silver circle at its center. It has 2 colors available: black, and white.

The manufacturer says that these batteries should keep the device running for a period of eight to 12 months depending on the number of weigh-ins it is used for per day.
To allow the scale to generate health data, the user will need to stand on it in bare feet. The moment an individual steps on the scale, it would display his/her weight.
This will be followed by displaying of the person’s fat mass (this will tell what percentage of an individual’s total body weight is constituted of fat). Then, the WS-50 will be showing the CO2 levels of the place you are located in and the surrounding temperature.
The device will also enable the scale’s electrodes to measure the user’s heart rate. The user would get to know his or her heart rate (displayed in beats/minute).
Overall, you will need to stand on your WS-50 for around 30 seconds. This is surely pretty reasonable considering the number of measurements the device takes.
All the data gathered by the Withings WS-50 Smart Body Analyzer get synced in the cloud, from where they get transported into a connected mobile device.
